As you are aware, the Company presented your Negotiating Committee with a Last Best and Final Offer for your first collective bargaining agreement. Ratification meetings were held, as previously posted on property, this week with your Committee after which, you voted on the company offer on Thursday, October 11, 2018. The result of the vote was a rejection of the company proposal by a resounding 99% of all votes cast. These results were sent to the company this morning.
Moving forward, we have reached out to the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) requesting their assistance in these negotiations. We embrace any assistance the FMCS can give to both parties in negotiations. Your Committee is committed to obtaining the fair and equitable Agreement that provides the dignity and respect you deserve and are anxious to get back to the table to bring these negotiations to a successful completion.
