Your Negotiating Committee met with the Company in LAS the week of February 17, 2020 to continue talks towards obtaining an agreement to bring to you, the membership, for ratification. Late Tuesday, 2/18/20, collectively, your Committee achieved a Tentative Agreement with Swissport LAS that secures 13% average wage increase for the term of the Agreement, enhancements to benefits and other language improvements. All improvements, enhancements and increases will be fully retroactive to February 1, 2020. We are in the process of arranging the Tentative Agreement as a complete document of the Tentative Collective Bargaining Agreement, with all changes plainly marked. The Completed document with be posted on the District Lodge 142 website (www.IAMDL142.org) by February 21, 2020 for your review, in accordance with District 142 By-Laws. Copies can also be obtained from your local negotiating committee members. Your Committee will be on property on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 to meet with the membership and answer all questions you may have prior to voting. A Ratification vote will take place after the meetings on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 with the polls closing at 3:00 PM, giving all members an opportunity to cast their vote. Your Negotiating Committee recommends a yes vote on this Tentative Agreement.
