Your Negotiating Committee met with the Company in PHX the week of March 2, 2020 to continue talks towards obtaining an agreement to bring to you, the membership, for ratification. Late Wednesday, March 4, 2020, collectively, your Committee achieved an Agreement in principal with Swissport PHX that secures more than 16% average wage increase for the term of the Agreement, provides for Longevity pay, increased Lead Premium, mid-night shift differential and improved language in multiple articles. Enhancements to benefits, and other language improvements.
The completed document has been reviewed and approved and we now have a tentative agreement. Copies of the TA will be posted on the District Lodge 142 website (www.iamdl142.org) for your review, in accordance with District 142 By-Laws. Copies can also be obtained from your local negotiating committee members. Your Committee will be on property for the ratification vote on Monday, March 23, 2018. The polls will be at the Swissport HR Office located above (2nd) floor of the Swissport Cargo building. The physical address is 1337 S 27th St, Phoenix, AZ 85034. The polls will be open from 0800 to 1700. A Ratification vote will take place after the meetings. Your Negotiating Committee recommends a yes vote on this Tentative Agreement.
