Negotiations continued this week at your Local Lodge. Your Negotiating Committee presented our economic proposal on wages, vacations, and retirement. The Company reacted strongly in opposition to our proposals. No counters from the Company were exchanged on these articles. However, the Company did present counters on No Strike No Lockout, Hourly Job Descriptions, and Hours of Service. We also tentatively agreed on Grievances and Arbitrations.
We have reached a critical stage in negotiations where all items are on the table. It is important to show solidarity for your Negotiations Committee as we navigate these most important issues in an effort to reach a contract you have earned.
Future dates are scheduled for September 20-22, October 4-6 & 18-20.
