IAM District 142 is proud to announce that we have reached a Tentative Agreement for our members at Allied Aviation EWR. Highlights of this new tentative agreement include:
- Wage increases of 18% over the duration of the Agreement.
- Sign on Bonus from $250.00 up to $2,000.00.
- $0.50 per hour premium for Mechanics, Tank Farm Persons, and Utility Persons who have a valid CDL and Endorsements.
- Lead premium increased to $2.00.
- Tool Allowance increased to $475.00 for Mechanics and $375.00 for Tank Farm Persons.
- Increased Boot allowance to $175.00.
- Increase in number of day trades from 8 to 10 per year.
- Now under the Railway Labor Act (RLA).
- Amended Grievance & Arbitration procedure to coincide with the Railway Labor Act.
- 4-year Agreement.
- Improved Dental Plan.
- 3-month early openers for the next negotiations.

An online ratification vote will be held from June 21, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time to June 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The vote will be administered by the IAM Ballot Site. A separate bulletin and email will follow with additional information on how to cast your vote.
