Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Last week your District 142 Negotiating Committee met with Atlantic Aviation in TEB and we are excited to announce that we have reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Highlights of the new agreement include:
- Increases for all wage levels and classifications
- Reduced time to greater vacation accruals (earlier)
- Introduction of surveillance language
- Reduction to progressive discipline timeframes
- $1500 signing bonus upon successful ratification of the contract • Full retroactive pay back to the expiration of the contract
- Increase in premiums (tow, CDL, Blac License)
- Introduction of ten (10) hour shifts
- Introduction of sick time buyback provisions
This agreement reflects four days of long hours and dedication shown by this committee in analyzing new concepts for inclusion in this TA. This committee also strongly recommends a YES vote in support of this TA. An electronic copy of the TA will be available at https://atd142.org/atlantic-aviation in a format that can be downloaded to any smartphone, tablet, or PC. A limited number of paper copies will also be available at the station.
Your General Chairs will be available at the TEB facility on Monday, August 11, and Tuesday, August 12, 2025, to answer any questions members may have before voting. Voting will take place through an electronic balloting system (more details to follow) starting at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, and the polls will close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. After voting ends, the results will be tabulated and shared shortly afterward. If you have any questions before next Monday, please contact a steward, committee member, or your General Chair.
