You may have heard reports of discussions or schemes regarding seniority integration on the New American Airlines. As your General Chairs, committees and stewards have been communicating to you, no seniority integration can occur on the New American Airlines unless done jointly by the TWU and IAM inside the framework of the TWU-IAM Representation Alliances we have formed. Additionally, every person’s seniority has been protected in the merger by the letter of agreement that was signed by all parties. Rest assured, no one can put into effect any seniority plan that violates the letter of agreement or is done outside of the TWU-IAM Representation Alliances.
