Dear Sisters and Brothers:
On Tuesday, January 12, 2026, your General Chairs traveled to Milwaukee to meet with the remaining Mechanics and Stores employees at the Air Wisconsin hangar. These meetings took place as the new owners, CSI Aviation, continue holding individual discussions with each labor group.
General Chairs met directly with current Air Wisconsin leadership, as well as the incoming CEO and President/COO. A union representative from Appleton was also present. During this meeting, the new leadership outlined their vision and plans for the future direction of Air Wisconsin’s business. Productive dialogue took place regarding the resumption of Section 6 negotiations, along with several other important topics. Leadership indicated that once they have completed meetings with all three labor groups at the hangar, discussions would move forward.
Following these meetings, company leadership joined us on the shop floor and held a small town hall with Mechanics and Stores employees who were on shift, as well as those who attended on their own time. This provided members with an opportunity to hear directly from management and ask questions about the path forward.
We remain committed to maintaining open, ongoing dialogue in the coming weeks, and we have received a verbal commitment from Air Wisconsin leadership that negotiations will resume at the table very shortly. We are hopeful this will bring us closer to securing a long-awaited and much-needed agreement for both work groups.
As always, we thank our members for their continued support, solidarity, and trust. Your unity and engagement strengthen our position and help ensure we continue fighting for fair contracts and a secure future for our Air Wisconsin members.
Sincerely and fraternally,
| John M. Coveny, Jr. President/Directing General Chair | John Bidoglio General Chair | Justin Bates General Chair |
