Orlando Luna, an American Airlines maintenance training instructor from Miami, was seriously injured in an accident while at work last week. As of today, he is still in the ICU with serious injuries, along with various cuts and bruises. As soon as he shows improvement, he will be released from ICU.
He was aware of the accident and remembers everything that happened. He was parked about 16 feet from the wall and says that he remembers the fall and that it felt like being in the first seat of a roller coaster as it goes down the first hill!! He believes that without his seat belt being buckled, he wouldn’t be here today!
