Dear Sisters and Brothers:
As 2025 draws to a close, we want to take a moment to wish all IAM District 142 members a safe, happy, and meaningful holiday season.
Many of our members will be traveling in the coming weeks, and we hope you arrive safely wherever the season takes you. No matter how you celebrate, we wish you happiness, good health, and the chance to spend quality time with family and friends.
We are also keenly aware that many of our members will be working throughout the holidays, helping to keep our industry safe, reliable, and on time. To those on the job this season, please know that your dedication is not going unnoticed. We see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you for the important work you do every day.
The holidays can be a difficult time for some, especially for those experiencing loneliness, stress, or grieving a recent loss. We encourage our members to look out for one another and to reach out to anyone who may need support, encouragement, or simply a listening ear. Please also remember that the IAM Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is confidential and available to members and their families whenever help is needed.
This is what being a union is all about. We are more than coworkers, we are family.
Enjoy your time away from work if you have it, take care of one another, and embrace the season in whatever way is meaningful to you. We look forward to standing together in the coming year and wish you a prosperous, healthy, and happy New Year.
