Brothers and Sisters:
Many of us are at a loss for words right now due to the update that was provided by the Company, our emotions are high and we are wondering what is the next step for us as a flight attendant group. We are hopeful that not only will the Company be approved for the CARES Act loan that was applied for but we also need to have Congress approve the Payroll Support Program (PSP) contained in the CARES Act until March 31, 2021.
Please make sure to fill out the form at https://www.goiam.org/departments/headquarters/politics-and-legislation/iam-action-alerts/#/148 to let your Congressional leaders know we need to extend PSP and save airline jobs.
We do wish there were a more definitive path forward. However, we can’t forget we have weathered many storms together and we will continue to do so.
