With negotiations delayed since September 2021 due to unforeseen circumstances preventing our ability to meet, your Negotiating Committee met with the Company in direct negotiations the week of November 8, 2021 at the IAD facility. As a result of the hard work and dedication from your committee, we were able to secure a Tentative Agreement to bring forward to you, the membership, for approval. This Tentative provides substantial wage increases throughout the duration of this agreement, which will be fully retroactive to September 1, 2021, improvements in the Vacation and Holiday schedules, as well as improvements to the training of our Line Service Technicians ensuring this work will become a function covered under the terms of your Collective Bargaining Agreement and is unanimously recommended by your Committee. This Tentative Agreement can be accessed on the District 142 website (www.IAMDL142.org) for your review. We will be on-site on Tuesday night, November 16, 2021, at 2230 until 0000 (11:30 pm to midnight) for the shift 3 members and Wednesday afternoon, November 17, 2021, 1230 until 1530 (12:30 pm to 3:30 pm) for shifts 1 and 2 members to get answers to any questions they may have prior to casting their vote.

Davis, Marshal Evans, Tom Goba, Ezekiel Coates, and Alexander Osei for their hard work, dedication, and insight they have on the IAD operation.
