District Lodge 142 will be closed for normal business on Thanksgiving Day and the Day after, but a dedicated team will continue to work the members requests for absentee ballots for the upcoming DL 142 election.
Requests are still arriving by USPS mail at this late stage before election day November 29, 2022. DL 142 will continue to turn around all requests ASAP once verified to mail. In most cases the DL 142 election tellers and staff are turning around the high volume of requests which are arriving on the same day.
Your DL 142 election team is making every attempt for the member who requested and qualifies to get an absentee vote ballot. We are taking on the extra cost of Express USPS mailing back to eligible members. If your absentee election ballot does not return to you in time to vote via absentee ballot and be returned to your pre-addressed LL election PO box, due to postal delays (for which DL 142 has no control over), please go to the DL 142 website page: Local Lodges – District 142 Election Information – District 142 (atd142.org) to find your Local Lodge voting location, where the polls will be open from 6am to 6pm on Nov 29, 2022, in your time-zone.
