Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your COFPS and MRP Union Negotiation committee met with Air Wisconsin leadership in Milwaukee the week of March 20, 2023, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Your committee and General Chair opened negotiations on March 21 and 22, 2023, by establishing the ground rules and framework for productive negotiations going forward. Future dates were agreed upon by both sides to be the weeks of May 8th in ORD and July 10th in MKE.
The company passed the COFPS negotiations team their proposals on Article 3 – Probationary Employees, and Article 9 Part-Time Employees. Your union negotiation team is reviewing these proposals and will work on counterproposals for the upcoming meeting dates. The COFPS team has 13 proposals to pass the company and they will continue their work on getting them ready for those upcoming dates.
On day two the MRP team worked on preparing, drafting, and prioritizing the proposals that were sent in by the membership.
