We are delighted to introduce our dedicated and passionate District Lodge 142 Education Committee. Our Education Committee Chair is Al Melendez. His team consists of Yusuf Baskin, Nancy Bloom, Ian Cole, Patrick Hamilton, Guy Johnson, Candie Lewis, Mike Mead, Kyle Morris and Sherri Rodriguez.
We have organized a series of training classes designed to address the evolving needs and demands of our industry. These classes will cover a wide range of topics including, but not limited to, our new online Grievance Manager Program (GMP) and the “Duties of a Shop Steward.” The purpose of these training classes is to equip our members with the knowledge and tools necessary to excel in our roles and contribute to the overall success of our membership.
Please read the attached letter below. This letter was sent to all DL 142 Local Lodge Presidents and Recording Secretaries on June 16, 2023. You will find a link and a QR code which will direct you to our form for requesting training for Shop Stewards, Committee Members, etc.
