IAM MEMBERS AT COMMUTEAIR VOTE OVERWHELMINGLY TO RATIFY NEW COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

Flight Attendants at CommuteAir have voted overwhelmingly to ratify a new Collective Bargaining Agreement, including wage increases on the date of implementation and regular wage increases over the 4-year life of the agreement, additional holidays, increased per diem pay, including international per diem, improvements to rest language and line/trade language, additional vacation and sick leave accrual, improvements to the 401(k) language and more.

Our flight attendant group has shown incredible resolve and solidarity throughout these negotiations, and we are proud that they have ratified this agreement, which they have worked hard to attain.

District 142 leadership will continue to work with CommuteAir leadership going forward to ensure that this agreement is implemented in a timely manner. We would like to especially thank the District 142 negotiating team for their hard work in securing an agreement you can be proud of.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact your General Chair, Jesse Wilson, at . We thank you for your continued support and solidarity. Congratulations on your new Contract.

Sincerely and fraternally,

John M. Coveny, Jr.
