IAM DISTRICT 142 GMP USERS UPDATE

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

To All District Lodge 142 Stewards, Chief Stewards, Committeepersons, Educators, General Chairpersons, and Admins: Happy Anniversary!

Your Grievance Manager Program (GMP) just celebrated its one-year anniversary. This is the first time the District Lodge has communicated with all contractual representatives via mass communication, which is another thing made possible by GMP.

To celebrate the first year, we want to update you on how well the program is being used throughout the vast array of contracts and locations in your District. GMP has been used to process almost 2500 grievances in its first year and manage information for approximately 875 users.

A recent change within GMP has been a departure from where we started and what we have been teaching. The change is a technology upgrade within the program that eliminates the requirement for each GMP user to supply their cell phone carrier. This is no longer a requirement, and the District Lodge 142 contact info form has been updated to remove that requirement. Please ensure you download the latest version of the form.

With the software/technology change, GMP will send its communications from its own unique phone number: (833) 432-6888. If representatives at all levels of the District Lodge add that number to your contact list/phone book, it will ensure you continue to receive messages from GMP. This change has already occurred, so it is imperative to please do the above.

With this one-year anniversary, all GMP Admins want to take this opportunity to thank each and every user for their constructive feedback that continues to improve this program for all who use it. If you have a suggestion, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Sincerely and fraternally,

John M. Coveny, Jr.
