Monday March 21 through March 25, 2016 – Your Negotiating Committee completed the IAM Negotiation Prep Training. In this training, topics such as power analysis, costing of proposals, and negotiation strategies were studied. Your Negotiators have been given the tools necessary to reach a collective bargaining agreement that will help improve your Wages, Health and Welfare benefits, and Job Security. We are in the process of creating a calendar in order to begin face-to-face negotiations with the Company. Your Negotiations Committee will periodically meet in order to continue to prepare for negotiations. The IAM will release an update when dates have been scheduled.
The members of your Negotiation Committee would like to thank Chris Wagoner, Director of the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center for his time and knowledge in training this Committee. In addition, we would like to acknowledge Brianna Gregory – Grand Lodge Educator, Fabian Liendo – Grand Lodge Organizer and Steve Mader – District 142 Organizing Director for their contributions to the training.
