Dear Sisters and Brothers:Negotiations between the IAM and McGee Air Services are set to begin in 2025. Your union Negotiations Committee has been selected and consists of the following members:
Marvin McCarter – Chief Shop Steward, LAX
Daniel McGuire – Chief Shop Steward, SEA
Michael Parker – Chief Shop Steward, PDX
Jose Rosales – Chief Shop Steward, SJC
District 142 General Chairs Justin Bates and Jason McAdoo will round out the committee.
The first order of business for the committee will be to attend the Negotiation Prep Class in January 2025 at the IAM’s William W. Winpisinger Education Center in Hollywood, Maryland. The class will consist of a week of education and strategic planning to assist the committee in negotiating the best contract possible to bring to you to vote on. The week will culminate with a negotiation simulation, allowing your committee to hone their skills and prepare them for future negotiations.
More communications will follow as we get closer to the opening of negotiations. In the meantime, please make sure you have completed the survey and be sure to submit any contract proposals you have. Links and QR codes to the survey and the contract proposal form are below:
