The IAM and the Company have met several times over the past few weeks to discuss the boarding times in DFW for the ERJ operation.
Although it is required that the Gate Agents begin boarding passengers 30 minutes prior per our mainline partner, the DFW operations team is installing red straps to keep passengers in the jetway until 25 minutes prior to departure. While the straps are being ordered and installed on the remaining jetways, the process will be for the agent to hold the passengers back from the aircraft until 25 minutes prior. We are pleased to see that a resolution could be reached while protecting our contractual language. Thank for your professionalism and service in DFW!
