Your Negotiating Committee, along with the Union Representatives and the Company, met on Tuesday, February 27 and Wednesday, February 28. Articles concerning compensation were discussed, but still require further discussion. Article 10 was discussed and was agreed upon, that no changes are necessary at this time. The discussions now revolve around the compensation package, regarding pay increases, pension increases and health care costs.
Since we are at the expiration of the current agreement, PDGC Dave Supplee and the Company, signed an extension of the contract, to give us time to resolve our outstanding issues. This extension goes to April 15, 2018 and provides for all improvements negotiated to be retroactive back to February 28.
The Union and Company have agreed to meet March 20 through 22 to continue these negotiations.
