Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAM negotiations committee, which consists of CommutAir flight attendants and IAM representatives Lisa Ferm and Mark Diefenbach, along with IAM General Chairperson Sara Gonzales, met with the Company to open negotiations October 1 and 2, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio.
We were able to discuss the vast changes within the company since the last negotiations, along with the current status and goals of both the company and the IAM flight attendants at CommutAir with senior management. In addition, we were able to setup a structure and general outline for negotiations moving forward.
We have received some feedback from the contract proposals we have had open but we know there’s a lot more input that we haven’t gotten from you yet. We have extended the survey deadline to receive as much guidance from the members as possible, but it will close on October 31, 2018.
We look forward to getting more input from the membership and being able to fight for what’s most important to you at the negotiating table. Our next meeting dates are November 6-8, 2018 in Cleveland, Ohio.
