ALLIED AVIATION FUELING – LGA RESULTS OF RATIFICATION VOTE FOR CONTRACT MODIFICATIONS

Members of District 142 employed by Allied Aviation LGA participated in a ratification vote to modify the current agreement on Friday May 11, 2018.

The members that participated overwhelmingly voted YES to the proposed pay increase addendum to the contract.  The majority of the voting members spoke loudly for the new scale to go into effect as soon as possible.

The new rate is listed below and once signed by the principle parties the Union and Company will go into effect on June 1, 2018, with retro/back pay for all regular hours scheduled that were worked by members dating back to May 1, 2018.

The company is proposing the following new rates of pay that will supersede all existing wage scales:

  • Starting – $18.75; Year 1 – 19.25; Year 2 -$19.55; Year 3 – $19.80; Year 4 – $20.00; Year 5 – $20.35
  • The hourly starting rate increases to $18.75 from the current rate of $16.25 on or about June 01, 2018
  • All employees hired after March 2014 will be advanced to the start of the new scale ($18.75)
  • All Full-Time employees hired prior between the years 1999 and 2013 will be advanced to ‘Year 2’ ($19.55) of the new wage scale
  • All Part-Time employees will be advanced through the scale and capped off at ‘Year 3’ of the new wage scale ($19.80)
