Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAM negotiations committee, Lisa Ferm and Mark Diefenbach along with IAM General Chair Sara Gonzales, met with the Company to continue negotiations June, 4-6, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio.
We passed proposals on the following Sections:
Section 5 – Scheduling
Section 8 – Vacation
Section 9 – Sick Leave
As we continued to work diligently on the Scheduling section this week, we have come to an agreement on the vast majority of the outstanding issues. This section is very important because it affects your quality of life on a daily basis.
We also passed our initial proposals on the Sick Leave and Vacation sections and awaiting responses from the Company.
We know wages and overall compensation are of great concern and we will be addressing those concerns in future sessions.
We greatly value your feedback, so continue to engage your representatives regarding negotiations. We appreciate your unity and support!
We will be meeting again July 22-24, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio.
