IAM District 142 General Chairs Kenny Champagne and April Butler, ATL Shop Stewards Denise Sylvia, Tyrone Jones, and Terry Sykes, and EAP Reps Renita Gibbs and David Jackson held informational meetings with Southwest Airlines agents in ATL today regarding the recent announcement by the company of a reduction in force.
As we work through this process we want to continue to ensure our members that we are ready to assist you in any way necessary and we are continuing to monitor the company to be sure they following the collective bargaining agreement to the letter, specifically the language in Articles 15 and 16.
