Dear Sisters and Brothers,
This letter is to announce the Year 2024 essay competition for the District Lodge 142 Scholarship Program.
This program is based on a scholarship competition open to members in good standing of District Lodge 142 as of February 1, 2024, and all Year 2024 graduating high school seniors who are legal children of members in good standing of District Lodge 142 as of February 1, 2024.
To effectively carry out this program, all District Lodge 142-affiliated Local Lodges are requested to:
Distribute to all members the official 2024 Rules and Regulations/Application Form document. An initial supply of these Rules and Regulations is enclosed with this letter. Please note: Official Application Forms are printed on the detachable bottom portion of the Rules and Regulations document. Additional copies of the Rules and Regulations/ Application Forms may be obtained from the District Lodge 142 Office, https://atd142.org website or reproduced locally. Please post the Rules and Regulations/Application Form document on all station IAMAW Bulletin Boards.
All Application Forms contain a statement of verification that must be executed by the Local Lodge financial secretary. This verification attests to a members good standing as of February 1, 2024. The Local Lodge seal must be imprinted on each submitted application. An application without the Local Lodge seal and financial secretary official signature will not be considered.
Any questions that may arise as to the Scholarship Program, the competition and/or awards, which cannot be answered locally, should be directed to the District Lodge 142 President/Directing General Chair via email at .
