DL 142 GRIEVANCE MANAGER PROGRAM IS LIVE

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

After the many months of design, proof of concept and beta testing, the new District Lodge 142 Grievance Manager Program (GMP) is up and running as of 0001 on August 1, 2023. This milestone represents countless hours of dedicated hard work by many District staff and those members from all contracts who stepped up to assist with getting the program ready.

With the program up and running, everyone who has submitted their complete information will have received their login information via their email that was provided during the enrollment period. Please check your spam folders if you have yet to receive it. As with any type of initiative of this magnitude, errors occur with transcription or just plain old typos, so please be patient. The GMP administrators will be available in the coming weeks to assist those with login issues.

If you did not receive login information, it might possibly be due to a few reasons such as not following the original submission guidelines (e.g., no email address submitted). If that is the case, you will have to contact your General Chairperson to submit your complete information again which can then be forwarded to a GMP Administrator by the General Chairperson verifying you are a Steward.

Training will be conducted throughout the month of August via the Zoom platform. Each training session will be limited to 25 participants and will be on a first come-first served basis. There will be enough sessions in the month of August to cover everyone who needs training, so please be on the lookout for the session information on the District 142 website (https://atd142.org/). Until such a time that you are able to file grievances online using GMP, Stewards may continue to use the current paper grievance and blue forms. The current forms will be phased out at some point in the next two months.

The GMP page (https://atd142.org/grievance-manager/) will continue to have tutorial videos created by our Director of Communications, Brother Todd Day. These videos show many of the features of the program. Also, on the GMP page will be a link to the GMP login portal (https://grievancemanagerrs.com/IAM142/login.php) where you will be able to login once you receive your profile information.

This program brings forward yet another innovative initiative by your District Leadership to help support all of our IAM members from anywhere in the world whether via a phone, tablet, laptop or anything with a wi-fi connection. We look forward to working with everyone as we move forward. With best wishes we remain
