Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Now that the Collective Bargaining Agreement has been ratified, we would like to thank everyone who stayed engaged throughout this process and helped bring it to a successful conclusion.
As we move forward, we will be holding elections for local IAM delegates, as specified in Article 30 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Delegates serve as the Union’s voice on the floor, assist members with day-to-day questions, and help ensure the agreement is properly administered and enforced.
Nominations for local delegates will be made online, by clicking the link below, or scanning the QR code. The deadline to submit nominations will be 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

After nominations close on Wednesday, we will tabulate the nominations and prepare ballots for voting.
Voting will take place in person on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the Courtyard by Marriott, 200 West Parade, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, 00603. The polls will be open from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
District 142 General Chair Todd Roan and International Representative Jorge Bonilla will be on the property next week to explain the election process and assist with nominations and voting. This is one of the most important ways members can help protect our contract. Thank you for your continued support and solidarity.
Sincerely and fraternally,
John M. Coveny, Jr.
President/Directing General Chair
Todd Roan
General Chair
