EXPRESSJET CRJ NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE

Sisters and Brothers:

I am writing to you today with a heart that hurts for those of us being furloughed as we are once again facing a new normal. I would also like to say I respect the fact that voices were heard through the democratic process that our union provides.

As a result of the rejected TA, I have been in contact with the company regarding the Perfect Attendance Incentive Pay, Preferential Hiring Program, as well as furloughs.

On March 1, the company offered a Perfect Attendance Incentive program to maintain their operational reliability. The incentive will be paid out as follows:

· Incentive-75 credit hours (March 2 – March 31)
· Incentive-150 credit hours (March 2 – April 30)
· Incentive-225 credit hours (March 2 – May 31)

The program qualifications are as follows:

A. Full-time lineholder flight attendants must maintain a minimum of 62.5 credit hours per month for each month in the quarter; Part-time lineholder flight attendants must maintain a minimum of 32.5 credit hours for each month in the quarter. (Note: part-time includes CRJ part time. Reserve flight attendants do not have a credit hour minimum

B. Flight attendants must complete their assigned schedule, without requiring coverage for any portion of their schedule, except for Company-approved vacation, trip trades and/or Company-qualifying bereavement leave.

C. Flight attendants cannot incur any late check-ins.

D. Flight attendant must be on the active bid list.

LOA #16 The Preferential Hiring Program located in the ExpressJet CRJ CBA, is being updated as it relates to the ExpressJet CRJ Flight Attendants’.

We have also prepared a Q & A with helpful information which will be sent a later this afternoon. Don’t forget to sign up for emails from the union at www.iamDL142.org if you have not already done so this will allow you stay informed with the most accurate and up to date information possible.
