We know the uncertainty you are feeling around the future of ExpressJet. We wish we had more concrete information to share and will give you as much as we have right now. While the future is unknown, the Company has approached all work groups in regard to cost saving ideas, including potential concessions, to make ExpressJet a more attractive EMB-145 partner for United Airlines.
As you know, the ExpressJet workgroups have some of the best contracts in the regional industry, and while that makes ExpressJet a more expensive option for United, the product we provide is well worth the price. We are evaluating our options of how to proceed with the Company. We understand the apprehension since our 2008 concessions took over a decade to regain. This is not something we have forgotten. We know these are trying times and while no decisions have been made, we will continue to update you as developments occur.
