Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAM District 142 negotiating committees met with Air Wisconsin leadership at District 141 Headquarters in ORD on Thursday, September 7, 2023, in an attempt to secure a short-term financial package that would benefit both our membership and the company. Both the union and the company made multiple financial passes but were unable to reach a deal, having ultimately reached an impasse.
District 142 General Chairs and negotiating committees will continue with Section 6 negotiations under the Railway Labor Act for both the COFPS and MRP groups. We have scheduled meetings with the company for the weeks of September 19th in ORD, October 2nd in Appleton, WI, and October 16th back in ORD.
