Voting on the recently released Tentative Agreement reached with your carrier was conducted over the last week at the CAE, MKE, ATW and DAY maintenance bases. With approximately 80% of the eligible membership participating in this ratification, the Tentative Agreement was overwhelmingly rejected by 97% of the voting membership.
The membership made clear the reasons and issues that led to the overwhelming rejection and we will take those back to the Company at the next opportunity to do so. We will begin the process of scheduling additional talks with the assistance of the National Mediation Board to meet again with the Company to address the concerns you raised.
