Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your District 142 Joint Alaska-Hawaiian negotiating team continued Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement (JCBA) negotiations with the company this week at District 142 HQ in Phoenix. Your committee presented to the Company and discussed the following articles:
General and Miscellaneous– Conversations continue regarding this article. Currently, the Union is working on our passback in response to the Company’s most recent pass. Primary points of contention remain Airport Parking and the addition of EAP language. We have not reached a tentative agreement on this article yet.
Home Agents– The Union and the Company exchanged passes of this article. While we are getting closer, no agreement has been reached yet.
Information Technology – The Union and Company have reached a tentative agreement on this letter.
PPG employees– The Company passed this letter to the Union. We will draft a counter for our next session.
New Letter Daylight Savings– We have reached a tentative agreement on this new letter.
Your Union has requested and received the financial data from the Company that will allow us to move into the next phase of negotiations. As these proposals take time to prepare, both sides have agreed to cancel the negotiations session scheduled for the week of March 30th. Our next session with the company is now scheduled for the week of May 4th in Seattle.
Please ensure you receive accurate information by signing up for District 142 updates on our website at https://atd142.org and by speaking directly with your negotiating team. These are the only official sources of information. Thank you for your continued support and solidarity.
Sincerely and fraternally,
