Dear Sisters and Brothers:
As was previously announced, your Union filed for assistance in these negotiations via the National Mediation Board (NMB). This filling was necessary due to a lack of progress being made with the Company in direct negotiations. The NMB has notified the Union that we have been assigned to Mediator Mike Tosi who will be handling our case moving forward.
A date has been set for the initial meeting that will occur under the control of the NMB and the mediator. It is scheduled for June 28 & 29, 2022 and will take place in the Newark, NJ area at a location yet to be determined. While in mediation, the mediator controls all facets of the process including the date, time and locations of any meetings that will take place.
As soon as these upcoming meetings take place, a bulletin with information from those meetings will be released.
