Dear Sisters and Brothers:
As we continue to prepare for the upcoming negotiations with Atlantic Aviation, we would like to take this opportunity to update the TEB IAM members on recent developments.
A few weeks ago, long-time General Chair Bill Wise retired after a career of dedicated service spanning many years. Bill was responsible for overseeing the District 142 collective bargaining agreement for our IAM members at TEB. During our visit with our members earlier this month, many expressed their congratulations to Bill. Since Bill will read this update, we want to include your well wishes along with ours to thank him for his years of service.
During our visit, many great questions were asked and answered. We received an excellent tour of the facilities and met all of our incredible members on shift that day. If we missed you or you were on your day off, we will return soon and hopefully get to meet you as well.
Regarding negotiations, dates have been set, and we will hold meetings during the week of July 28, 2025. Your committee is prepared to represent you effectively in these negotiations and to reach a tentative agreement that aligns with your proposals and one you will be proud to ratify. Please understand that during this process, your patience and solidarity are crucial. Please dispel rumors and know that these bulletins are a reliable source of facts about the negotiations. If you have any questions, please contact a steward, committee person, or your General Chairperson.
