Dear Sisters and Brothers:
IAM District Lodge 142 is pleased to announce that a Tentative Agreement has been reached for the IAM members at Bahamasair.
Highlights from the tentative agreement include the following:
• Average DOR wage increases of 23.87% for all classifications | • Highest DOR wage increase is 24.22% |
• Backpay calculated for all years since the amendable date in the form of wage increases and lump sum payments | • Daily training per-diem increased to eighty dollars ($80.00) and one-hundred dollars ($100.00) while abroad |
• Additional holiday (Juneteenth) beginning in 2024 | • Mechanic license premiums increased |
• Vacation increases for employees with 6 years or more | • Increased bereavement leave to five (5) days |
• Medical premiums capped at five percent (5%) cost share for life of Agreement | • Backpay will be payable within two (2) pay cycles of date of ratification |
