IAM/BRITISH AIRWAYS NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

Your IAM District 142 negotiations team met with British Airways leadership the week of November 13, 2023, in Phoenix to continue negotiations for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement for Engineering and Worldwide Airports (CSA).

As in our previous sessions, discussions were positive and productive. We have reached tentative agreements on the following articles:

    Engineering
    • Article 1 – Purpose of this Agreement
    • Article 3 – Status of Agreement
    • Article 8 – Seniority
    • Article 14 – System Board of Adjustment
    • Article 15 – Safety and Health
    • Article 21 – Saving Clause
    CSA
    • Article 1 – Purpose of this Agreement
    • Article 3 – Status of Agreement
    • Article 10 – Leaves of Absence
    • Article 14 – System Board of Adjustment
    • Article 15 – Safety and Health
    • Article 20 – Saving Clause
    • Article 22 – Light Duty

    Your union negotiating team is very encouraged by the results of these last rounds of talks. We are in the process of scheduling the next dates to meet in January, 2024.

    Thank you for your continued patience, support, and solidarity as we work towards our goal of bringing back to you, the membership, a full Tentative Agreement to vote on.
