The Union and Company met again this week in NYC under the auspices of the NMB and Mediator Gerry McGuckin. Attending for the Company were Doug Caines, VP, Bridget Brookfield, International HR Manager and Georgia LaBarge, HR Manager. This week’s discussion was completely about the continuing efforts of the Company to outsource all US based work to a GHA and the Union’s opposition and efforts to combat that proposal. No progress with any substance was made at this meeting. We will continue down in the same direction as I referenced last week. For some, there was a lack of understanding. Hopefully for those individuals, their questions, doubts and concerns were answered. If anyone has a question concerning the process we are currently, please contact me via the methods listed below.
Additional dates are still set to occur during the weeks of July 9, August 6, September 3 & 10, October 15, November 26 and December 3. Specific information concerning those meetings will be released via bulletin following those meetings.
