CBD and hemp oil products are readily available in stores and online and have become very popular. The producers of these products make a multitude of claims about their health benefits, however, there is no government or FDA regulation of these products in the United States.
Most of us, if not all of us, who work for an airline and/or in the transportation sector, are subject to drug testing under the Drug Free Workplace Act. The fact that CBD and hemp products are derived from the cannabis plant presents the possibility they could contain THC in a large enough quantity to trigger a positive drug test result.
