Dear Sisters and Brothers:
IAM District 142 members at Menzies ORD – 474 have ratified a new three-year contract which includes substantial wage increases.
Highlights of the newly ratified agreement include:
- Wage increases of 8.5% over the life of the Agreement for those out of scale.
- Increase in shift premiums.
- Increase in trainers’ pay for all hours assigned as trainer.
- Increase in sick time payout at retirement to 60%.
- Bonus of $750.00 for all members up to 30 years and $1500.00 for those with 30 years or more of service with the company.
- Contract books to be printed by the company no later than 60 days after ratification.
