Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Customer Service members at British Airways have voted overwhelmingly to ratify a new Collective Bargaining Agreement that includes significant wage increases, lead upgrade premiums, a ratification bonus, improved overtime language, increased day trades, an additional holiday, improvements to uniform/apparel cleaning compensation, improvements to filling of vacancies language, improvements to grievance language, and more.
Our British Airways Customer Service members have demonstrated patience and solidarity throughout these negotiations, and we are proud that they have ratified this new agreement, which the negotiating committee worked hard to attain.
District 142 leadership will work with British Airways leadership as we proceed to ensure that this new contract is implemented correctly and in a timely manner. We would like to especially thank this negotiating team for their hard work in securing this agreement.
