Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Engineering members at British Airways have voted overwhelmingly to ratify a new Collective Bargaining Agreement that includes wage increases, license premium increases, a split shift premium, a ratification bonus, improvements to overtime language, stronger scope language, vacation increases, increased day trades, improvements to uniform/apparel cleaning compensation, an additional holiday, improvements to grievance language, and more.
Our British Airways Engineering members have demonstrated patience and solidarity throughout these negotiations, and we are proud that they have ratified this new agreement, which the negotiating committee worked hard to attain.
District 142 leadership will work with British Airways leadership as we proceed to ensure that this new contract is implemented correctly and in a timely manner. We would like to especially thank this negotiating team for their hard work in securing this agreement.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact one of your General Chairs, Ken Coley, at or Mark Strength, at . Thank you for your continued support and solidarity.
Congratulations on your new Contract.
Sincerely and fraternally,
