Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Our District 142 members at Swissport PHX voted YES to ratify a new contract which includes significant wage increases, longevity pay and improvements to 401k, shift premiums and work rules.
Additional highlights of the newly ratified contract include:
- Leads no longer required to participate in discipline.
- Vacation sell-back at any time during the year.
- Lead and Trainer premiums upgraded to full shift.
- Improved wage offset for employees electing not to take Swissport Insurance.
- Additional holiday
- Updated Swissport 401k and retirement plan including immediate vesting and 100% match on first 3% of employee’s contributions. 50% match on the next 2% employee contributions
- Immediate wage increases including retroactive pay.
- Increased longevity pay with new 5 year longevity scale.
- Increase to overnight shift premium.
