Dear Sisters and Brothers:
IAMAW District Lodge 142 has reached a tentative agreement with Menzies 474 in Chicago, Illinois (ORD). If ratified, our members outside of the scale will receive a 2.5% wage increase on date of signing with an 8.74% wage increase over the life of the three-year agreement.
In addition to wage increases, highlights of the tentative agreement include:
- Increase in shift premiums.
- Increased trainers pay for entire hours assigned as trainer.
- Increase in sick time payout at retirement to 60%.
- Bonus of $750.00 for all members up to 30 years and $1500.00 for those with 30 or more years of service with the company.
- Contract book to be printed by the company no later than 60 days after ratification.
Voting for the new tentative agreement will take place:
- Wednesday, April 12, 2023
- ORD Local 1487 50 Oakton St. Des Plaines, IL 60018.
- Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. CST.
