IAM / PAE – HOMESTEAD CBP TENTATIVE AGREEMENT REACHED

Negotiations for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement were conducted this week with management representatives from PAE at the Local Lodge 368 building in Miami, Florida.  After three days of direct negotiations, a Tentative Agreement was reached that includes the following:

·   Continued the frozen insurance rates from the last CBA for two additional years ·  Minimal increase in insurance rates for year 3 of the new CBA
·  Increased employee contribution amounts in to 401k to IRS maximum limits from $25,000 ·   One-time wage adjustment of $1.00 for certain classifications
·   Changed Columbus Day holiday to MLK, Jr. holiday ·   PPT accruals changed to date of hire from 26 weeks
·   Wages increases of 3% per year over term of CBA ·   Increased Lead Premium to $1.50
·   3-year term on new agreement

Copies of the above changes will be available at the site shortly for your review. Based on the above improvements, it is the recommendation of this Negotiating Committee that the membership support these changes with a YES vote during the upcoming ratification.  The ratification vote will occur on Thursday, August 30, and will take place again at the CBP building in Homestead, FL.  All dayshift personnel will vote as soon as their shift concludes. All swing shift personnel will vote prior to their shift beginning.  Please plan accordingly as you must be present to vote.  There are no absentee ballots for a contract ratification vote.

I again wish to thank the PAE membership for their support and steadfast patience throughout this process.  If there are any questions or concerns prior to the ratification meeting, please contact your Negotiating Committee members, or feel free to reach me on my cell at (859) 653-4037, or by email at .

With best wishes, I remain

Sincerely and fraternally,

James M. Samuel
