IAM/PSA Airlines Stores Negotiations Update

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

Your PSA Airlines Stores Negotiating Committee met on Tuesday, Aug 4, 2026, and Wednesday, Aug 5, 2026, in Charlotte, NC, for our latest Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Negotiations. Your Committee and PSA exchanged multiple passes on the following Articles:

  • Article 9 – Seniority
  • Article 14 – Leaves of Absence
  • Article 15 – Grievance and Arbitration Procedure
  • Article 27 – Union Shop and Voluntary Dues Check Off

This past week, negotiations centered on these four contract articles. After in-depth discussions, we are now down to a couple of remaining issues on each of these articles before we can finalize agreement on them.

While there are still some fundamental issues where we remain apart, ongoing dialogue and continued progress at the table give us confidence that we can secure the agreement our membership deserves.  We appreciate the membership’s continued support and patience as we push toward an agreement that benefits all members.

Please be aware that if management is talking to you about discipline or something that could lead to discipline in the future, you should be requesting a Union Steward to be present. Don’t ask if you should have a Union Steward present – Tell them you want a Union Steward present! A Maintenance Department Union Steward is allowed to represent you while we work on completing your contract and setting up your own system of Union Stewards.

The Stores Transition Letter of Agreement (TLOA) authorizes Union Stewards to represent employees and outlines a grievance procedure. This is available on the IAM District 142 website at https://atd142.org/psa-airlines-stores/.

We strongly encourage you to visit IAM District 142’s website at www.atd142.org and click on the buttons at the top of the homepage to sign up for email bulletins and text messaging alerts. Remember, the only accurate source of information on these negotiations will be from District 142 and your Negotiating Committee.

Sincerely and fraternally,
