Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAM District 142 Negotiating Committee convened on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in Charlotte, NC, to prepare for negotiations. On Wednesday, June 11, we began direct negotiations with PSA Airlines Stores management for our first Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). These negotiations follow certification by the National Mediation Board (NMB) on September 11, 2024.
After months of preparation, your negotiations committee was well-prepared for this first meeting, as shown by the passage of ten articles on the first day, which included Articles 1, 4, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 20, 22, and 23. On the second day, your committee presented an additional four articles, consisting of Articles 2, 3, 26, and 27. All article topics are listed at the bottom of this bulletin.
Also occurring this week were discussions about the status of PSA Airlines and the scheduling of new dates for future negotiations. Those dates are July 23–24, August 20–21, and September 10–11, 2025.
There is currently an interim transition agreement available on the IAM District 142 website at https://atd142.org/psa-airlines-stores/. Your committee has worked diligently to reach this point, so please take a moment to thank them. Please know that during this process, your patience and solidarity are crucial as we work to craft an Agreement that you deserve and will overwhelmingly ratify.
