Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAM District 142 PSA Stores Negotiating Committee met on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, and Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Charlotte, NC, for our latest Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) Negotiations.
This past week, your Committee and PSA exchanged multiple passes on the following Articles:
- Article 3 – Hours of Service
- Article 4 – Wage Rules
- Article 5 – Overtime
- Article 6 – Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY)
- Article 8 – Vacations
- Article 10 – Vacancies and Posted Jobs
- Article 14 – Leaves of Absence
- Article 15 – Grievance and Arbitration Procedure
- Article 18 – Insurance
- Article 19 – Retirement
- Article 21 – Moving expenses
- Article 24 – General and Miscellaneous
- Article 26 – Conduct of Union Business
We were able to reach a Tentative Agreement on two articles: Article 4 – Wage Rules, and Article 26 – Conduct of Union Business. We have also agreed on Article 6, except for the economic sections. Article 24 is agreed upon but will be left open as it is a general article that may be added to later in the process.
We continued the momentum from the last meeting into this meeting, and both parties worked hard to make several passes. We have multiple proposals that are nearly finished, with only minimal items left to be agreed upon. Our next meeting is in May.
There is currently a Transition Letter of Agreement (TLOA) that authorizes union stewards to represent employees and outlines a grievance procedure. This is available on the IAM District 142 website at https://atd142.org/psa-airlines-stores/. Please be aware that if management speaks to you about discipline or something that may lead to discipline, you should ask for a Union Steward to be present. A Maintenance Department Union Steward is allowed to represent you.
Remember, the only accurate source of information on these negotiations will be from District 142 and your Negotiating Committee.
