Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Your IAMAW District Lodge 142 negotiating team is scheduled to meet with Southwest Airlines leadership October 13, 2022, with additional dates to be scheduled if needed.
During the week of the Grand Lodge Convention, from October 1 – October 8, 2022, District 142 and Grand Lodge leadership had the opportunity to speak to our member delegates from Southwest Airlines and discuss firsthand with them their concerns for their Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). We talked about what was important to the membership with these delegates. We are confident that we are moving in the right direction.
We are continuing to fight for you at the negotiating table and we are more committed than ever to bringing back to you an industry leading Tentative Agreement for you to vote on and be proud of. We will keep you updated on the outcome of this latest round of negotiations. As always, do not hesitate to reach out to your General Chairs with questions or concerns. With best wishes we remain
