The company called a meeting of your Subcontract Committee. The company decided to farm out GSO and temporary HPN. As usual, the company had outrageous numbers for management required to manage a small station. The company stated the manning for the MRP members was calculated off another small station. The company stated that, the station only had less than 50% productive time. Which means that in a ten-hour shift, an employee only works five hours of the ten-hour shift. That means their over staffed management cannot manage the work force! Your Committee stated their displeasure with the company’s calculations. As usual, the company was not willing to rethink their calculations.
